Hello there, and welcome to FFTB! Thank you so much for joining us!
Before you start posting, you should be aware of the rules we have set for the site. Let's get to those now!
Before you start posting, you should be aware of the rules we have set for the site. Let's get to those now!
General Rules
Rule Number One:
Respect other users. Any fights will be sorted out by moderators or administrators.
Rule Number Two:
The Admin's word is law. We work hard to create a site for everyone,
so what we say goes.
Rule Number Three:
Racism, Sexism, Homophobic Comments, ETC are not allowed.
We appreciate that there are opinions you have, but they should be kept to yourself.
Any of these will warrant a board warning, and if it persists we may choose to
remove you from the site entirely.
Rule Number Four:
Excessive swearing is not allowed. Note that I said
'excessive'. Swearing in itself is fine, but for the love of all
that is holy, swear properly.
Rule Number Five:
We don't care how you write. When I'm not doing OFFICIAL MOD THINGS i write a lot like
this because i'm not obligated to give a shit about my spelling and grammar. But
make sure your writing is understandable. See rule two in the Role-Playing
section for more info.
Role-Play Rules
Rule Number One:
Don't godmod. Godmodding is when you take control of another person's character without
permission. It's very annoying, and to some it can even be offensive. Please don't.
Rule Number Two:
When you're role-playing, it's generally considered good form to write like you would
if you were writing a book. We aren't asking for perfect spelling and grammar, but
please do your best!
Rule Number Three:
Do your best to keep to your character. That being said, try not to create Mary-Stu or
Gary-Stu characters! These are characters who are amazing at everything, who have a wildly
implausible backstory (a little implausibility is okay. We're roleplaying giant robots
fighting giant monsters, not 18th century France.) and typically have all the lovely
ladies/manlies falling over themselves to get to this character. Please don't.
Rule Number Four:
Respect the plot. We worked very hard to create a storyline for you to enjoy, so
it's only natural that we request for you to stick to it. We may add a category for
other Role-Plays later on, but for now just stick to ours.
Rule Number Five:
There's not a word limit on our site, but we strive for semi-literate posts. We know this
this isn't always possible. So write as much as you can without straining yourself! The
goal here is to have fun!
